How do you ensure the best interpreter?
Book an interpreter in good time!
Think through what time of day you will conduct the interview. The busiest times for interpreters are between 10am and 2pm. Is it possible to move your meeting a little earlier or later?
Use the portal! This is the most efficient way to order an interpreter. Orders come straight into the system, where the system starts looking for the right interpreter before the customer center has time to open the assignment.
Consider whether attendance interpretation is a "must". Can this assignment be done over the phone?
Consider telephone interpretation as an alternative if attendance interpretation cannot be provided. We always try to deliver according to the customer's specifications, but then we know whether a telephone interpreter can be used in an emergency or not. You will also avoid phone calls or text messages from us regarding this.
Avoid ordering "ten on", "quarter past", etc. Most customers order interpreters for "full" hours. If you order an assignment with a duration between 10.50 and 12.15, it will be difficult for the interpreter to get this assignment into his calendar.
